Skyfall - Back To Work

The new Bond film, Skyfall, was brilliant. In my opinion it was even better than Casino Royal in some ways (especially the villain). Whilst remaining firmly within the Bond tradition, the three Daniel Craig films have managed to be somehow less sexist. I do not suggest that women are no longer sexual objects in the films, simply that Bond also shoulders the role of clothes horse and eye-candy. Eva Green's Vesper may even have had a personality! In Skyfall the character of Judi Dench's 'M' is developed beyond the stiff matriarch she played in her Brosnan outings. However, the film also boasts (and it really does boast) a disappointingly neat and Shakespearean ending.

Please don't watch this semi-review if you haven't seen the film yet. I don't want to ruin it for you.
